PLAYGROUP PLUS

Playgroup Plus aims to improve the quality of the play experience by bringing together the strength of a parent managed Playgroup with the expertise of a qualified Early Childhood Facilitator.

Parents continue to attend the group, assuming volunteer roles like other Playgroups, but the children’s play experiences are guided by a facilitator employed by Playgroup Queensland. A creative, age-and developmentally-appropriate play program is designed to provide a range of activities suitable for the children attending. Families enrolling in this service pay a term fee.

What will happen at Playgroup Plus?

Considerable planning goes into the Playgroup with a dedicated baby area and a play program that is enjoyable for both parents and children alike. Activities include a mix of structured and unstructured experiences including; music and dance, indoor and outdoor play, storytelling, and a variety of activity areas for dramatic and creative play.

Everyone has commented on how much he has changed and how well he speaks. It has really brought him out of his shell.

– Amanda – Playgroup Plus Mum
